Imágenes preoperatorias en cirugía plástica: Análisis de la importancia de las imágenes preoperatorias en la planificación quirúrgica y resultados postoperatorios. Un artículo de revisión
Resumen
La planificación preoperatoria con estudios de imagen en intervenciones quirúrgicas plásticas y reconstructivas, es un elemento crucial para asegurar resultados satisfactorios y reducir complicaciones. Materiales y métodos: La presente revisión de la literatura se realizó mediante la búsqueda de estudios científicos publicados en los últimos 5 años en bases de datos electrónicas como PubMed, Scopus, Elsevier, entre otras. Resultados: los estudios de imagen preoperatorios son herramientas esenciales en la planificación y ejecución de cirugías estéticas y reconstructivas, ya que proporciona permite la visualización directa de la anatomía del paciente y de las estructuras de interés en cada paciente. Estas pruebas permiten diseñar un abordaje quirúrgico personalizado, minimizar riesgos y mejorar la calidad de la comunicación médico paciente al comentar los resultados esperables más precisos y reales.
