Insuficiencia renal relacionada a alteraciones metabólicas y endocrinas
Resumen
Introducción: La insuficiencia renal es descrita como un problema de salud pública mundial relacionado a una alta mortalidad y morbilidad con respecto al riesgo de la enfermedad renal crónica. Objetivo: Identificar las alteraciones metabólicas y endocrinas en pacientes con insuficiencia renal y las comorbilidades clínicas asociadas. Metodología: La investigación fue de diseño mixto, el tipo de estudio fue descriptivo y de revisión sistemática. Resultados: Los resultados evidenciaron en un estudio de EE. UU. (2023) que el 6,2% de los 103766 casos presentaron acidosis metabólica, descrita como la alteración con mayor frecuencia. Un estudio de Japón (2023) evidencio que el 50,4% de los 26626 casos presentaron insuficiencia cardíaca, descrita como la comorbilidad más frecuente. Otro estudio, realizado en Israel (2023) reflejó que, según 40558 casos registrados, la creatinina es el biomarcador más frecuente. Conclusiones: En resumen, la relación de la insuficiencia renal con las alteraciones metabólicas y endocrinas se determinó por medio de una investigación exhaustiva, concluyendo que la acidosis metabólica y la diabetes mellitus fueron delimitadas como las alteraciones más frecuentes en relación a la insuficiencia renal.
