Métodos diagnósticos en la detección temprana de Artritis Reumatoide

Resumen


La artritis reumatoide es una patología autoinmune crónica, siendo la detección temprana crucial para prevenir el daño articular, su diagnóstico en el inicio de la enfermedad llega a ser un reto para el galeno debido a la falta de síntomas predominantes de la enfermedad. En Ecuador según un estudio transversal de enfermedades reumáticas, se registró una prevalencia de AR de 1,8%. Se tiene como objetivo analizar los métodos de diagnóstico en la detección temprana de artritis reumatoide mediante la revisión de literatura para un diagnóstico temprano que contribuya a disminuir la progresión de la enfermedad. Se emplearon bases de datos como Pubmed, Bvsalud, Scopus, Latindex. Entre los anticuerpos tenemos al contra péptidos cíclicos citrulinados (anti-CCP) que son más específicos y sensibles en comparación con el factor reumatoide (FR) y su combinación mejora la eficacia del diagnóstico temprano. En las pruebas de imagen, la ecografía tiene menor sensibilidad, pero mayor especificidad que la resonancia magnética en la detección de erosiones óseas, pero ambas son más sensibles que la radiografía convencional. La tomografía es más específica en la detección de sinovitis que la radiografía, pero menor que la resonancia, siendo el costo el problema en su accesibilidad.
