Colangiocarcinoma extrahepático avanzado: análisis de un caso clínico y revisión de la literatura

Resumen


El colangiocarcinoma extrahepático es una neoplasia maligna poco frecuente con un pronóstico reservado debido a su diagnóstico tardío. Se presenta el caso de un paciente masculino de 67 años con antecedentes de hipertensión y diabetes mellitus, que acude con dolor en hipocondrio derecho, náuseas y vómitos biliosos. A través de estudios de laboratorio e imagenológicos, se confirmó el diagnóstico de colangiocarcinoma extrahepático avanzado. Se discuten los hallazgos clínicos, diagnósticos diferenciales, opciones terapéuticas y pronóstico de la enfermedad con base en la literatura reciente.
