Impacto académico y psicológico de las adicciones en estudiantes universitarios
Resumen
El impacto académico y psicológico de las adicciones en los estudiantes universitarios se ha convertido en un tema de creciente preocupación. Las adicciones, tanto a sustancias psicoactivas como a comportamientos como el uso excesivo de tecnologías, tienen efectos devastadores en el rendimiento académico y la salud mental de los jóvenes. Este estudio aborda cómo las conductas adictivas afectan la concentración, la memoria y la motivación de los estudiantes, contribuyendo a una disminución en su rendimiento y un aumento en el riesgo de deserción universitaria. Además, se identifican trastornos psicológicos asociados, como ansiedad, depresión y estrés, que son exacerbados por las adicciones. Los resultados de la investigación subrayan la necesidad de un enfoque integral en la prevención e intervención de estas conductas, considerando no solo el aspecto físico, sino también los factores psicológicos y académicos que influyen en el desarrollo de las adicciones. Se destaca la importancia de la intervención temprana para mitigar los efectos negativos y mejorar la calidad de vida de los estudiantes. La hipótesis central plantea que las adicciones no solo afectan el rendimiento académico, sino que también inciden de manera significativa en el bienestar psicológico, lo que requiere estrategias de prevención más focalizadas y adaptadas al contexto universitario.
