Innovación en herramientas de gestión en salud y su impacto en la calidad de la atención
Resumen
La gestión de la salud desempeña un papel crucial en la mejora de la calidad de los servicios médicos en la era moderna, en la que la complejidad y las demandas de los servicios de salud están aumentando. Mediante una gestión eficiente de los recursos, el desarrollo de la competencia del personal médico y la implementación de un estricto sistema de seguridad del paciente, la gestión de la salud puede garantizar que los servicios prestados cumplan con los altos estándares y las expectativas de los pacientes. El objetivo general fue describir las principales herramientas de gestión en salud y su impacto en la calidad de la atención. La metodología se basó en una revisión bibliográfica sistemática de tipo descriptiva. Se realizó una búsqueda sistemática en bases de datos científicas como PubMed, SciELO, Elsevier y Google Scholar. Los resultados evidenciaron varias herramientas como Lean Six Sigma, el ciclo PDCA y el modelo Kano, que contribuyen significativamente a la reducción de errores, la puntualidad en procesos y la satisfacción del usuario, aunque se identificaron limitaciones como la heterogeneidad de enfoques y métricas utilizadas. En conclusión, estas herramientas representan una solución efectiva para innovar en la gestión sanitaria, pero se requiere mayor estandarización en su evaluación para garantizar su aplicabilidad en diferentes contextos.
