Tratamiento de conducto en pacientes con terapia de fármacos antirresortivos. Revisión bibliográfica

Resumen


Este artículo revisa la evidencia científica actual sobre las consideraciones del tratamiento endodóntico para pacientes que se someten a terapia farmacológica antirresortiva. Se llevó a cabo una búsqueda sistemática de la literatura en las principales bases de datos PUBMED, SCIELO, SCOPUS, EBSCO y SCIENCE DIRECT. Utilizando criterios rigurosos de inclusión y exclusión. El análisis se centra en temas clave como tratamiento endodóntico, las posibles complicaciones y la osteonecrosis. Los datos extraídos de estudios elegibles revelaron las implicaciones de bisfosfonatos y otros medicamentos antirresortivos en procedimientos endodónticos, particularmente en el tratamiento de conducto radicular. Basado en hallazgos, esta revisión proporciona recomendaciones prácticas para el manejo efectivo de la atención endodóntica en pacientes que reciben terapia antirresortiva.
