Efecto de las Prácticas de Teletrabajo en el Bienestar de los Empleados. Caso: Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito del Segmento 1 en el Ecuador
Resumen
El teletrabajo ha ganado relevancia como modelo laboral debido a avances tecnológicos y la pandemia de COVID-19, ofreciendo beneficios como mayor flexibilidad horaria, reducción del tiempo de desplazamiento y mejor equilibrio entre la vida personal y profesional. Sin embargo, también presenta desventajas, como aislamiento social, dificultades en la desconexión digital y sobrecarga de trabajo. En el sector financiero, estos desafíos son críticos debido a la alta presión y largas jornadas laborales, subrayando la importancia de investigar su impacto en el bienestar de los empleados. Este estudio, enfocado en el sector financiero, aborda esta brecha mediante encuestas y modelos de ecuaciones estructurales para evaluar los efectos del teletrabajo en el bienestar de los empleados, considerando variables como nivel jerárquico, responsabilidades y características demográficas. Los hallazgos demuestran una relación positiva y significativa entre las prácticas de teletrabajo y el bienestar de los empleados financieros, destacando la necesidad de diseñar políticas de teletrabajo que consideren las preferencias individuales y la voluntariedad, y de proporcionar un entorno de teletrabajo de apoyo para maximizar los beneficios y minimizar los riesgos. Al final se abordan algunas limitaciones y futuras investigaciones que pueden desarrollarse.
