Aminotransferasas y perfil lipídico en pacientes con dengue

Resumen


Estudios previos evidencian un incremento de los casos de Dengue que cursan con un cuadro de disfunción hepática, lo que amerita estudios que evalúen el mecanismo de afección hepática en relación al serotipo infectante. Así mismo, las lipoproteínas pueden tener la capacidad de modificar la función de la respuesta inflamatoria y de esta manera alterar la respuesta inmunitaria del hospedero durante las infecciones. Se ha sugerido que una disminución en las concentraciones de C-HDL y C-LDL, así como alteraciones en los niveles de colesterol total y triglicéridos plasmáticos en los pacientes infectados por virus Dengue desarrollan las formas más severas de la enfermedad, sin embargo, no se ha relacionado al serotipo viral infectante.
