La calidad en la universidad Ecuatoriana: criterios y claves para dicha gestión
Resumen
La calidad en la educación superior ecuatoriana es un tema crucial que ha sido estudiado a A través de diversas teorías y enfoques, se destaca la importancia de la inversión en educación y la gestión integral de la calidad para mejorar la calidad educativa en Ecuador. Teorías como la del Capital Humano y la de la Calidad Total, junto con enfoques como el Aprendizaje Significativo y la Efectividad Escolar, proporcionan una base sólida para orientar las políticas y prácticas educativas hacia la excelencia y la pertinencia académica. Modelos internacionales como el EFQM y el de la ANECA ofrecen criterios y estrategias para la gestión de la calidad que se pueden adaptar al contexto ecuatoriano, centrándose en el liderazgo, la política y la evaluación de programas académicos. La evaluación institucional y la acreditación de programas son componentes clave para garantizar la calidad educativa en Ecuador, estableciendo criterios de evaluación que abarcan la calidad académica, la pertinencia social y la eficiencia institucional. El desarrollo de una cultura de calidad en las universidades ecuatorianas, basada en la mejora continua y la participación activa de la comunidad universitaria, es fundamental para alcanzar la excelencia académica y el éxito institucional.
