Comunicación y herramientas digitales para la dislexia ¿Un problema en la Educación? Una revisión

Resumen


La dislexia es reconocida por presentar una dificultad en el procesamiento fonológico, ortográfico, visual y semántico en la lectura, que perjudican el aprendizaje y repercuten en el rendimiento académico del alumno. Para subsanar este déficit se han creado planes de estudio enfocados en mejorar el desempeño estudiantil. Actualmente se han diseñado herramientas digitales como material de apoyo para un mejor aprendizaje. Por este motivo la presente investigación se enfoca en caracterizar a la dislexia y exponer las principales estrategias de comunicación y herramientas digitales utilizadas en el ámbito educativo. Se analizaron artículos científicos ubicados en bases de datos como Scopus, Web of Science, Pubmed, ProQuest, Medline, Scielo y que fueron publicados durante el periodo 2016-2022. Los resultados demuestran que la dislexia es un problema que se presenta con frecuencia en el ámbito educativo y afecta al proceso de aprendizaje. Por tanto, el diagnóstico precoz, la utilización de herramientas digitales y planes de estudio, basados en los estilos de aprendizaje propios de cada alumno, pueden disminuir las limitaciones y mejorar el rendimiento académico. Además, si el docente conoce las necesidades del estudiante y logra establecer una buena estrategia de comunicación y conexión con el alumno favorecerá el desempeño académico.
