Tratamiento endodóntico de un molar en C con ápice abierto: Reporte de un caso

Resumen


Las lesiones cariogénicas en dientes jóvenes pueden desencadenar en la interrupción del desarrollo normal de la raíz. El tratamiento de un diente permanente con ápice abierto y una anatomía compleja como un molar en C, es un desafío para el endodoncista debido a la ausencia de la constricción de un ápice normal y la presencia de paredes delgadas, lo que dificulta conseguir un sellado apical mediante el uso de métodos convencionales del tratamiento de endodoncia.
