Gestión de la Calidad en la Educación Superior

Resumen


La gestión de la calidad es un concepto importante en la educación superior, ya que ayuda a garantizar que el programa curricular se ajuste a las necesidades de los estudiantes y a las necesidades económicas y sociales de su entorno. Sin embargo, la investigación académica sobre la práctica en la educación superior es limitada debido a las culturas arraigadas que perciben las revisiones de terceros como una interferencia injustificada. Además, la definición ambigua de los términos por parte de los diferentes autores significa que los subsiguientes investigadores a menudo tienen interpretaciones contradictorias de los resultados de la investigación. Metodológicamente se llevó a cabo una revisión sistemática de la literatura disponible revisada por pares sobre la gestión de la calidad en la educación superior. Los criterios de inclusión se centraron en la educación superior y la publicación en la última década. Asimismo, se categorizó los resultados por metodología y enfoque para comprender el estado de arte del conocimiento e identificar la necesidad de profundizar en la investigación.
